I just read an article on the New York Time’s Schoolbook website. It is an article regarding children who are in need of mental health services and because schools don’t have the proper funding to provide that care, on site, they send them to hospital emergency rooms.
I am an adult who is well educated in regards to my illnesses and, even still, it is extremely hard for me to deal with the day to day situations that life throws at me sometimes so, I can only imagine how a child who has no idea what it is they are going through, would be feeling. (more…)
