I AM starting my diet, I swear!

I did start taking apples, banana’s, and edamame to the office, to snack on throughout the day but, it is not the same.

Like, oh my goodness! Yesterday, I went into the file room and, on the desk in there, there was a package of cookies. The package had been opened so I can see one of the cookies and it wasn’t like any cookie I’ve ever seen. It was more like a delicious looking, giant, chocolate thingy.

I did manage to walk away from it, got the file I needed, and left the room. It wasn’t until I went back to return the file that I had to get one. OH MY GOD…worst mistake ever! This thing was amazing. The best snack, cookie, chocolate thingy ever, by far. They were Pinwheels, ‘Pure Chocolate, and Marshmallow Cookies’ by Nabisco.

Needless to say, I bought a box last night, after dinner. I know, I know. I have a problem.

The other day, at the office, there was a teenage boy waiting for his father to get out of his appointment. He’s been there several times so we have gotten to know each other a bit. Anyway, he was watching me answer phone calls and put some packets together for the next day. He was pretty quiet that day and out of nowhere he said, “I don’t get it. Why would anyone who owns their own business and has the choice to stay home, come to work to do what you do? Wouldn’t it be better to work harder at your business to make up for the money you make here?”

Oh wow, it’s been over a month since I’ve posted in here. I guess the saying, ‘No news is good news’ is true.

Life really has been great lately. I have been keeping super busy and, honestly, have no complaints. My life took an unexpected turn, as it always does, and I’m quite content about it. (more…)

I have heard, time and time again, that there are two sides to every story. When I tell my stories, the only side I know is my side and my side is the side I tell.


That being said, I strongly believe that if you are not part of the story being told, you shouldn’t repeat the story because, chances are, the reason you were told the story was because you were trusted. (more…)
